How much water do you use at home?
An average person will use about 90 gallons a day. There are many things that contribute to such high water use, and by installing a tankless water heater you might be able to limit your water use.
Some of the main factors that contribute to such high water use:
Bath: Full bath tub is around 40 gallons
Shower: 5 minute shower is about 8-10 gallons @ 2 gallons a minute.
Brushing your teeth: Less than 1 gallon
Washing face: 1 gallon
Dishwasher: New dishwasher = 4 gallons/ Old dishwasher = 10 gallons
Dishwashing by hand: New: 20 gallons/ Old: 30 gallons
Flushing your toilet: 3 - 4 gallons
Drinking Water: 8oz a glass, 8 a day.
Conclusion: If you invest in a Tankless Water Heater then you will only be using the water as you need it. Some months you may use less water, and some monts more. If you have a tankless water heater then you may save money on all these gallons of water being used.
